Sharing FiltrGroups previous | next

FiltrGroup sharing is a powerful feature of the service and a great collaborative tool. Keep your team, executive staff or partners up-to-date and on the same page by letting them benefit from the Filtrs and groups you’ve already set up. FiltrGroups are simply groups of Filtrs, like folders on your computer, that help logically organize your keyword searches.

For example, if you want to track your competitors, you can set up a group containing Filtrs for the names of all of your competitors. Then it’s easy to share the group with the rest of your management team or colleagues simply by entering in their e-mail addresses. If your colleagues are already Filtrbox users, they can accept or ignore the invitation the next time they log into their Filtrbox dashboard. If they are not already Filtrbox users, they will receive an invitation to get an account and share the FiltrGroup.

When you pick up a shared FiltrGroup, you are subscribed in a read-only mode to the group. You can see the group, and the Filtrs but cannot edit them. When the FiltrGroup's owner provides article feedback or makes changes to the Filtr setup, your copy is updated as well. If you want to make changes or tweak the Filtr on your own, you can "own" the Filtr and make a copy that you can edit.

FiltrGroups you are subscribed to get included in your Daily Briefing emails, in the dashboard article list, etc. You can simply drag the group to the trash if you no longer want that content.
